nutty topping

1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 pinch of salt
1/3 cup maple syrup
In a large pan, toast the almonds and pumpkin seeds over medium-high heat, stirring, for about 1 minute. Add the sunflower seeds and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add the sesame seeds to the pan. Cover and cook, shaking the pan, about 30 seconds. Transfer the seed preparation to a bowl. Add the wheat germ, salt and maple syrup. Stir.
